The Domestic Abuse and Sexual Assault (DASA) Care Centre of York Region opened in 1992. It is a regional center for the care of victims/survivors of sexual assault and domestic abuse.

The new DASA Care Centre will be located within the Magna Emergency in the new Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital.  DASA currently provides services through the Nick and Rosanne Cortellucci Emergency at our Mackenzie Richmond Hill Hospital and counseling services though the DASA Clinic located in one of our Vaughan satellite locations.  When the new Hospital opens in 2020, DASA will provide specialized care and support to women, men and children experiencing domestic violence, sexual assault, elder abuse and human trafficking in a specially designed suite within the Magna Emergency.
